1. Dimensions
There are 3 brush dimensions as illustrated in the sketch below. Please fill in the brush dimensions as accurately as possible using an appropriate measuring instrument, e.g. vernier.
In Order to be able to supply the correct grade of brush, please also advise current brush (grade) marking.
2. Brush Style
There are a variety of brush styles, please look at the types below and select the nearest match, if you need assistance please contact customer service.

3. (a) Terminals
The terminal is fitted onto the flexes, please indicate the terminal style and slot width - if style is not available, please give details later or send a sketch to customer services on +44 (0) 1792 763112.

3. (b) Flexible
The flexes or tails come out from the brush and can be different quantities, lengths, and materials, please advise below the flex length, and indicate in the boxes below whether copper (plain) or silver(tinned), are rivets holding flex or not and whether the flex is insulated.
Please note the required length is from the top of the carbon to the centre of the terminal slot.
3. (c) Radius
On the contact face of the brush there is sometimes a radius that matches the commutator or slip ring.
Is a contact face radius required on the brush - if so, please advise the value. Note the contact face radius is 0.5 the diameter of the commutator/slip ring
3. (d) Bevels & Relevant Flex Position
A bevel or angle can be on both the top and running face of the brush.
If bevels present on brush, please advise angle in degrees (°); also please advise location of flex. If you require assistance please contact customer service.

3. (e) Tops
The top of the brush could have a shape or top fitted, please indicate type if required and dimensions.

3. (f) Commutation Chimney / Dust Groove
Dust grooves can be on the outside of the brush or inside on a multi part brush, please indicate if required and dimensions
