To face the challenges of successfully growing business in the industrial market Morgan AM&T are running an operational excellence programme and in line with this global initiative the team at the Swansea site have implemented the service level improvement programme, based on ServQual, a service quality framework developed by Zeithaml, Parasuraman & Berry and now adapted for their business to improve on the high quality service provided. Following this programme, to gain the highest standards of service Helen Thomas the Morgan AM&T customer service manager and her team recently visited Admiral in Swansea to work with Ian Roberts the customer service operational manager and his team on sharing best practice and benchmarking activities. The day was an absolute success and Linda Pinner Morgan AM&T customer service representative commented;
“This was a real insight into how a pure service business operates and I was most impressed by the standards of customer service and in particular the attitude and expectations of the staff who were all totally customer focused”
The team at Morgan AM&T will now develop some of the tools and systems that Admiral use to improve their service and have invited the team to a site visit and share in some of their working practices.
